What are we looking at?
This patient is receiving mechanical Pelvic traction. It's a therapeutic technique that involves applying a pulling force to the pelvic region to relieve pain, improve alignment, and promote healing. 

Benefits: 

* Reduces pain and muscle spasms
* Improves spinal alignment
* Separates vertebrae, creating more space for nerve roots
* Increases blood flow to the affected area.

We want to take a moment to highlight an exceptional team member, Keith Thomas. Although he has been with us for a relatively short time, both our patients and staff are incredibly thankful for his presence. In 2025, Keith will celebrate an impressive 40 years as a physical therapist! His passion for this profession began at the age of 10, and he graduated from PT School in Galveston in 1985.

Keith previously owned a clinic in Austin but discovered that he truly thrives in an outpatient setting where he can focus on manual therapy. He takes great pleasure in helping patients relieve tight muscles, particularly in key areas like the pelvis, which he believes is crucial for overall body balance. Throughout his career, he has treated a diverse range of patients, including burn victims, those with severe wounds, sports injuries, age-related issues, and neurological conditions. No challenge is too great for him. Keith cherishes the journey he has taken and feels honored to have made a difference in the lives of so many. We appreciate you, Keith, and are grateful to have you on our team!

Anterior Hip Arthroplasty Post-Operative Care! This specific patient had severe, chronic hip pain for 15+ years. His goal is to get back on a horse. We are using cupping therapy to promote blood flow and tissue healing to help this patient.
