Our volunteers are the heart of Peterson, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and compassion they share with our patients and families.

Barbara Arket supports our team through administrative duties such as coordinating flower tickets, making weekly tuck-in calls to check on patients’ medications and supplies, preparing sympathy cards, and helping with special projects. After a rewarding career in the oil and gas industry, Barbara finds joy in giving back and helping others. Her advice to those considering volunteering: find what you enjoy and share your life and knowledge whenever possible.
