From coping with emotional stress and burnout to managing schedules, responsibilities, and self-care, this group acknowledges the vital role of those who support heart patients. Whether you’re seeking advice, validation, or just a listening ear, our discussions aim to empower both patients and caregivers with shared wisdom, compassion, and encouragement.

Please join us the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 4:30 to 5:30pm.

All meetings are held in Classroom B at Peterson Regional Medical Center located at 551 Hill Country Drive in Kerrville.

For more than 23 years, Cristin Sanchez has been a dedicated part of the Peterson family. Starting her journey in 2001 as a phlebotomist and later became a nurse on 2 West in 2008. 🩺🩷

The Newborn Care class will review newborn traits, crying and comforting, breastfeeding basics, newborn care and safety. Additional resources will be discussed like When to Call Your Baby’s Healthcare Provider, Car Seat Installation, How to Perform Infant CPR, Infant Choking First Aid, and Baby Supplies Checklist. Babies do not come with instructional manuals but we can help you get started on the right track for taking care of your newborn.

Come take a look into the new Amanda and J. David Williams Surgery Center.🩺
The new surgery center boasts four state-of-the-art operating rooms, four endoscopy suites, and a procedure room, doubling previous capacity for outpatient surgery procedures. In addition to expanding its surgical capacity, the surgery center integrates the latest technology in sterile instrument processing.
