K'Star Inc is a community based organization creating safe and caring environments for Texas youth. Contact us to register for classes.

Emergency Shelter:

K'STAR Emergency Shelter provides nurture and support for displaced children. Through the practice of Trauma-Informed Care, we start the process of healing the abuse, neglect, and trauma suffered in their early years. Our home can house up to twenty youngsters ages birth to seventeen. Free Counseling and Family Services:

It is our goal to help families develop the skills they need to remain together in a safe and loving environment for all involved. Our family and youth counseling services are provided free of charge to eligible families and aim to prevent runaways, truancy, abuse, and neglect. We maintain a crisis hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for children and parents. Free Parenting Classes:

In the event that a court of law requires you to attend parenting classes, we offer a class once a week for six weeks. At the successful conclusion of the class, you receive a certificate of completion to turn in to meet Child Protective Services, court, or probation requirements.

🙏 All Glory to God 🙏
We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible generosity shown through First Assembly of God Kerrville, who collected and donated new toys along with canned and non-perishable food items for the children served through our K’STAR services.

We want to give thanks first and foremost to God, whose provision, love, and faithfulness continue to make a way for the children in our care. We truly believe this blessing is a reflection of His heart for His children. A reminder that He sees them, knows their needs, and provides for them through His people.

We are thankful for Phil Jackson and his wife Kim, along with Brittney Greene, for being willing vessels — for keeping K’STAR in mind and allowing God to work through them to bless the youth we serve. Their hearts reflect a deep desire to serve not for recognition, but out of obedience and love. ❤️

These toys and food items will help bring comfort, joy, and hope to children who need it most, especially during this season. We are humbled to witness God’s work unfolding through our community and are so thankful for partners who share the same mission of caring for His children.

We are currently collecting Christmas gifts & essentials through our Amazon Wishlists to support youth in our emergency children’s shelter, counseling center, and Halo’s Kloset. These items help ensure every child feels seen, valued, and cared for this holiday season.
