🔥New Sponsored Athlete Announcement- Trevor Silcox 🔥
Trevor’s story isn’t just about strength, it’s about resilience, recovery, and doing the work when it would be easier not to.
This is exactly what we mean when we say: Built for athletes.
Read below to learn more about our athlete ⬇️
What got you into lifting / your sport?
I first got into lifting in 7th grade. I trained and exercised for football for the next 5 years. I dealt with a lot of injuries during that time, but lifting was always something I came back to. Eventually, I found powerlifting as a way to excel at something I truly love.
What keeps you going / what’s your “why”?
What keeps me going is people. The people I want to encourage, support, and push forward, and the people I want to make proud.
What are your current goals (short-term and long-term)?
My short-term goal is to compete at and win the USAPL Midwest Regional Championship in the Junior 75kg class. Long-term, I want to compete at higher levels and coach and train others in their sport, corrective exercise, and everyday health.
What makes you different from other athletes?
What makes me different is what I’ve had to come back from. Surgeries and major injuries have consistently slowed my progress over the last 7 years. I’ve worked my way back from each one and spend a lot of time focusing on injury prevention.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Disciplined. Motivated. Chaotic.
What do you want to be known for outside of your sport?
I want to be known for helping others through corrective exercise and personal training. As an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Exercise Therapist, everything I’m doing is building toward using my platform to support my career and help others improve their health.
How has recovery (massage, etc.) helped your performance?
Massage therapy has been a huge part of my recovery and injury prevention. It’s helped me stay ready for competitions, get through prep periods, and manage off-season injuries that would otherwise slow me down.
Built for athletes who refuse to stay down.
