If you want to know what the future looks like, look at the women who are busy writing it.
This past month hasn't just been about celebrating history; it’s been about active participation. I’ve spent the last few weeks in rooms filled with women who refuse to accept the status quo.
At the Women of Influence summit, we talked about "Writing Our Future Together." Not as a catchy slogan, but as a strategic mandate. It was a reminder that our professional leadership is the pen we use to draft a better world.
Then, I saw that "future" take a different shape at the We Care Arts Gala and the AWear Affair. These events reminded me that resilience and healing are just as much a part of our "influence" as our business goals. Seeing the women walk the runway and the collaborative art created by healing hands proved that when women show up for each other, we create a safety net that allows everyone to soar.
As Women’s History Month ends, I’m taking these lessons into April:
Influence is communal, not individual.
Art is a bridge to healing.
Resilience is the most beautiful thing you can wear.
I’m curious. If you could write one "future rule" for women in business or your community, what would it be? Let’s keep this conversation going in the comments. 👇✨
