Community Food Collection at Earthworks Healing Arts

This season, many families in our area are feeling the strain as assistance programs face delays and uncertainty. To help bridge that gap, Earthworks is opening our doors as a collection point for non-perishable food donations.

If you’d like to contribute, simply bring an item to your next session or class. We’ll make sure it reaches local families who could use extra support right now.

Even the smallest act of care can ripple warmth through a whole community. Together, we nourish more than healing - we feed hope and belonging.

We are in a space of cosmic intensity right now due to the incoming solar storm. Just like the Earth’s magnetic field, our bodies are electromagnetic beings.

Solar storms can affect sensitive ones through an increase in anxiety, restlessness, sleep disturbances, aching joints, etc. While it can feel very uncomfortable, this level of sensitivity shows a deep connection to the rhythms of Earth and Sky, and is actually a gift.

Grounding your body by being in and around water can be soothing. Also lying on the ground can be helpful.

Above all, be gentle with yourself. These big waves can cause temporary dysregulation.

From a Spiritual perspective, the sun’s energies can stir emotional patterns that are ready to move or be seen. You can ask the solar winds to clear what’s no longer needed. Visualize the energetic “dust” being swept away by golden solar light, making room for new frequencies.

We have a great chance of viewing the aurora tonight!

To sit in circle,
to share breath and story,
to remember that healing was never meant to be done alone.

At Earthworks Healing Arts, a new rhythm is emerging.

In the coming weeks, we’ll begin offering support groups and mini classes—intentional spaces for deep listening, nervous system restoration, and soulful connection.

These circles will explore themes like:

Each offering will be held with care, skill, and reverence for your unique path.

An element of embodied trauma healing that is not often shared is ancestral work.
Research has shown that certain genes can be turned on and off, and may be a mechanism through which trauma can be passed down through generations. Adverse experiences can change future generations through specific epigenetic pathways. Research has shown that these traits can affect up to 6 generations down the ancestral line.
This part of of the somatic work blends science with spirituality. We view the ancestors as guides that are waiting to bring in extra support when needed.
Some of the embodiment work really can feel a little like time travel and shamanism at times; it's the beautiful alchemy of the blending of modalities that serves as such a powerful catalyst for healing. #

Trauma Informed Reiki I Class

Usui Reiki I Certification

Reiki I Class- 2 Day Training. Includes 5 initiation Reiki attunements to open up your energy centers, an overview of the subtle energy bodies, Reiki Ethics, hand placements for self-treatment and treating others, treatment table etiquette and ergonomics, hands-on practice with classmates, and education on polyvagal theory and how to work with common trauma responses that can present in clients while receiving Reiki. At class completion students will receive a certificate of completion and their Reiki lineage mapping back to the original Master, Mikao Usui of Japan.

Class Fee: $400
$100 deposit required at time of registration. Amount will be applied to total class fee.

*Classes are intentionally kept small so that there is plenty of time for one-on-one instruction.
