It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Lori. She was reunited with our Lord on December 18th. (There will be a private service for the family.) Lori was close with many of our residents and will be missed here at Kettle Moraine Gardens. ❤️ Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

After a stroll down memory lane, some Memory Care friends decided to walk the hallways of the RCAC community and admire their decorations. No one was familiar with my favorite childhood book, Santa Mouse, which I read aloud. Joe and Judy shared Dec 24 was the night they became engaged. Most people grew up going to church on Christmas Eve and then celebrating with family in the evening. We talked about how traditions changed over the years, as loved ones passed or moved away. Silent Night and Oh, Holy Night were the two most like songs. A star or an angel adorned the top of the tree. It was equally split between having white or colored lights. Dan shared how it was magical the way the gifts appeared under the tree, when he was six!
Wishing all a safe, peaceful and blessed Christmas Day❤️🎄💚

Thank you to the Kewaskum High School Choir for combining their youthful voices with those who have been singing Christmas songs thru the decades. It’s a joy to hear and sing along to familiar songs of the season! During lunch, we were blessed to spread more holiday cheer. The generosity of the Giving Tree at Holy Trinity and St Michael’s Parish’s provided gifts for every resident in the community. Shown here are the CBRF people who were grateful for their presents. Thank you to everyone who donated and is involved in the Giving Tree ministry. We wish you a blessed Christmas❤️💚
