Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or can’t stop overthinking?
Pause…
Starting at the top of your head, bring gentle movement into your joints to release excess tension & fight or flight energy that builds in these areas. Repeat each step 5x.
1. Rotate neck
2. Roll your shoulders forward, up, and back
3. Bend and straighten elbows
4. Rotate wrists in one direction and then the other
5. Extend your fingers and then draw them into fists
6. Make circles with your torso - inhale as your chest comes forward, exhale as your spine pushes back behind you
7. Bend and straighten knees
8. Rotate ankles in one direction and then the other
9. Expand and contract your toes
