Halloween was full of treaters as we welcomed Gerald Adams Elementary to Palm Vista. We gave out candy and they gave us smiles and even a song. The students and residents (lol) were very well behaved.

Are you ready for some football?! 🏈 We know Allen from Palm Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation is ready! Marissa, the DOR shares, "Allen mentioned that he hasn’t been doing the things he usually enjoys doing. Occupational therapy did some digging and found that this time of year, he would be watching football games, and joking with his friends."

"We made the best of his situation and had some friendly competition playing a few games of RESTORE Football Frenzy. Allen had a great time playing Football Frenzy! We talked about Sunday’s games, had some snacks, and plan to continue this every Monday, to keep the fun alive, and get some great upper body range of motion and strength going in the process." 🙌 ♥️ Ivy Healthcare, Adaptive Rehab

Live Music Therapy is always good for the soul. Thanks to everyone that came out and help bring two talented young men (John and Tony) to our nursing home. Our residents enjoyed tapping toes, clapping and singing. It was a full house and fun time for all ages.
