Public Notice

The Health Department and all offices housed within the facility, will be closed on Friday, April 10th, 2026 due to a scheduled power outage due to the current on-site construction. We will reopen at 8:00am on Monday, April 13th, 2026. Thank you for your patience as we upgrade our facilities to better serve this community.

✏️The 2026-2027 School Year will shortly be upon us!📚

‼️All Students entering 7th & 12th Grade are required to have updated vaccinations prior to the start of the school year.‼️

The Mineral County Health Department will be visiting both Keyser & Frankfort Middle/High Schools to help provide the opportunity for students to receive these vaccines.

The Requirements & Dates for each school are listed below. ⬇️

🚨7th Grade Requirements: TDAP & Meningitis
▪️Additional Recommendation of HPV
🦅Frankfort Middle School - Thursday, March 26th
🌪️Keyser Middle School - Monday, April 20th

🚨12th Grade Requirements: Meningitis
▪️Additional Recommendation of Meningitis B
🦅Frankfort High School - Thursday, March 26th
🌪️Keyser High School - Monday, April 20th

📝 Consent Forms Will Be Sent Home With Students. However, If You Do Not Receive A Form, Please Contact Your Child’s School or The Health Department at (304) 788-1321.

‼️Please Return All Permission Forms To Your Child’s School Nurse As Soon As Possible‼️
