🍁🦃 Our Assisted Living residents gathered recently for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal lovingly prepared by our talented kitchen team. Even more special—many families and loved ones joined us to celebrate together. Grateful for the joy, togetherness, and full hearts (and plates!) this holiday brings. We hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving! ❤️

Some of our residents loved celebrating an early Thanksgiving at the Silver Link Luncheon with a delicious meal from Duck Church! 🦃🍽️ From turkey and mashed potatoes to green bean casserole and plenty of pie options, it was a flavorful event. We topped it off with music bingo, and congratulations to Joyce for winning a prize! 🎉 These outings promote social engagement and fun—something we treasure at Spring Arbor Senior Living.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Spring Arbor Of the Outer Banks 🇺🇸

Today we proudly celebrated the 11 Veterans who call Spring Arbor home. ❤️

We gathered together outside by our flag poles to say the Pledge of Allegiance, sing the Star-Spangled Banner, and hear a few heartfelt words from Pastor Jack. It was a beautiful moment of gratitude and reflection.

Afterward, we warmed up inside, took photos, and presented each Veteran with a certificate of honor and a bag filled with treats as a small token of our appreciation.

A special display table featured photos of each Veteran, their branch of service, a blessing poem, and patriotic buttons and bracelets for everyone to wear in support.

We are so thankful for the brave men and women who served our country—and so honored to have them as part of our Spring Arbor family. 💙❤️🤍

🍁 A Sweet Thank You to Rachel with Sandbar Sweets! 💛

We had such a wonderful time as Rachel shared her cookie decorating talents with our residents! Everyone learned simple, fun techniques for turning sugar cookies into beautiful fall creations. Each resident got to decorate three festive, fall-shaped cookies — and they turned out adorable (and delicious!).

Thank you, Rachel, for bringing your creativity, patience, and sweetness to our community. You made our day extra special! 🧡

We were delighted to welcome a wonderful group of FFES 2nd graders to our community on Friday💕! These sweet students filled our building with laughter and joy as they sang, danced, shared handmade cards, and even went trick-or-treating with our residents. 🎶💌🍬👻

It was such a heartwarming day filled with smiles across all generations — a perfect reminder that kindness and connection make every holiday a little brighter. 🧡 A big THANK YOU to the teachers, music teacher, art teacher and Spring Arbor staff for their hard work making this a special event! 💓

Our 2025 Halloween Party was a hit! 🎃👻🧡💜🖤The kitchen staff knocked it out of the park with delicious food & fun creative desserts! 3 lucky residents won the costume categories contest 🏅
We also were able to celebrate Lucille’s 101st birthday together by singing to her & enjoying some cake.

✅ Lots of laughter & social time
