This is Nugget, he is a 3 month young Minature Pinscher and Chihuahua mix with a side of Labrador and Pitbull 🤭, but oh so freaking adorable! 🍀 Lucky Nugget is a rescue from the Outer Banks SPCA and now living his best life in Salvo. L👀k at how well his focus and training is doing, what a good boy.

Oliver, is a 4 year young Boarder Collie rescue from Fredricksburg, DC. He now lives in Southern Shores with his new family and is learning that it is okay to be a little shy and cautious. Don't worry Oliver, keep coming back, we think over time we will be besties and we will always have the patience for you. 🥰

Join us Sunday, March 15 for our 29th Annual Walkathon as we march in Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Nags Head. This tail-wagging tradition is one of our most important fundraisers, helping us provide spay/neuter assistance, vaccinations, and emergency veterinary care for pets across the Outer Banks.

Meet at 12 PM at Bladen Street Beach Access (MP 11.5). The parade begins at 12:45 PM. Please arrange for drop-off or plan to walk in.

Raise donations, enter our costume contests, compete for the Puppy Cup, and earn raffle tickets toward two Fur Ball tickets for every $10 raised.

Meet Outer Banks newest local, Darlin Dottie. Dottie is a rescue from Norfolk, VA. She is 4 years young and believed to be an American Bulldog, but her parents are waiting for her doggy DNA to confirm 😉. Welcome to living your best new life Dottie, we hope you keep coming back 🥰.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to My Furry Valentine’s Day at HPS! We had so much fun and loved seeing all the adorable faces (two-legged and four-legged 😉).

Rachel is working her magic right now, smoothing out a few background wrinkles and making everyone look their best! Editing will take about 7–8 days, and your photos will be emailed to you once they’re ready.
