Long term stress on the spine leads to muscle strain, migraines, herniated disc‘s, and arthritis. Your head in a forward position can pull your body out of alignment creating discomfort and pain throughout the entire body. Forward head posture also reduces your lung capacity by 30%.
Bad posture doesn’t only affect your body but your brain. When your range of motion is decreased due to stiffness and tension, endorphin production decreases. Pain and discomfort increase and that affects your mood, motivation, and confidence!
If treatment is started before the spine begins to decay, your posture can be corrected and stress on the body can be reduced tremendously, relieving chronic pain.
