Hi y’all 🌻

I haven’t updated in a while! I’m currently 11/30 proton therapy treatments in. For 30 minutes a day I get zapped on this table🤪 the good news is the playlist is bussin’ everyday 🎶 time is flying and I’m grateful! This is Cam and Vita, 2/8 wonderful team members on my machine. My side effects have been manageable so far and I’m pushing right along!! 💪🏻 this is the last part of treatment!!! Almost there!!! God continues to bless me!!! 💛🙏🏻

We made it H ❤️ M E

5205 Palmetto was so good to us. Houston Haven was exactly that for the past 3 months, a Haven where we created memories with our girls. We’re forever grateful for this organization and for our tribe for making this happen. ❤️

We met with the plastic surgeon today and when the doctor left the room, Marc and I both looked at each other like WOW 👀 I’ve never had a surgery before in my life and this is so EXTRA. 😭😣🥴 But after this surgery, I will hopefully be cancer free!! 🙏🏻 (may need to have radiation for good measure but one step at a time)

Surgery is January 30. That’s the next step in the process. I have scans next week for the final results of chemo and for doctors to use for surgery. We will go over those next Friday with our wonderful oncologist.

I cried a lot today. It was overwhelming. I have a mountain to climb mentally and physically while healing from this will be right there with me just as he has been and always will be. ✨ 🙏🏻

We continue to feel all the love, support and prayers and are so grateful for it all! Words can’t express! 🌻 💛 we will keep y’all posted….

Today the Lord blessed me with

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

We met with the oncologist today and my disease is stable! Shes dying even more y’all! 🙌🏻 My PET scan is clear! She ain’t spreading either! 🙌🏻 with that being said cycle 4 kicked my butt! 2 blood transfusions and a trip to the ER. It took a toll on my body but I’m still standin 🎶

Tonight starts cycle 5 then 6 and I’m done with chemo. 👏🏻 6 weeks! I can do 6 more weeks!! 💪🏻We meet with surgeon next Tuesday to discuss surgery which is looking like mid January. ❄️

Praise HIM. I know this is His plan for me and I have found so much beauty in this journey. He is carrying me through. I know He has more in store for me through this rough stuff! ✨

We continue to be grateful for y’all. Our family, our friends and our community. All the prayers, love and support. We will keep you updated on whats next when we have more info. 👍🏻

I wear YELLOW for my sister n law who has cancer.

I designed these t-shirts for Kara. The sunflower represents osteosarcoma awareness as well as the yellow ribbon..
I would like everyone of you to buy a shirt (or a few) to help my family and raise cancer awareness. All proceeds from t-shirt sales go to Marc & Kara to help them while Kara is getting treatment at MD Anderson. They currently live in Houston near MD. She has a couple more cycles to go (hopefully) and then surgery and radiation. This is a long, expensive process and I would like to relieve any stress that they may have. It is something that everyone thinks can’t happen to them but it does and our whole lives have changed. Kara is the kindest, funniest, strongest person I know and I am very grateful that she is my sister.
We will wait about 2 weeks to get as many orders as possible and then will contact you for your order. I expect all of my family and friends to order and I would like all of you to share this with your family and friends. Please see photos with how to order. Thank you so much for your support!
