🌟 Employee Spotlight!! 🌟
Introducing
 đŸ„ Felisa Crumley!!

Felisa is a proud Lampasas native, born and raised, and has called this small-town home her entire life. Family is at the center of everything she does—she and her husband, Eric, have been together since they were 19 and have built a beautiful life together. They are the proud parents of 13-year-old twins, Brielle and Coby, who keep them busy and full of joy as they prepare to start high school next year! Their home is also filled with love from their four fur babies—dogs Max and Maddie, and cats Flaco and Angel.

Felisa currently works as an RBT with CTBS, where her journey began in a special way. While working as a paraprofessional in the Special Education department at Hanna Springs Elementary, she became curious about ABA after seeing the CTBS team in action. After a well-timed (and slightly joking!) suggestion from Angela, she took a leap of faith, reached out, and quickly found herself interviewing with CTBS. Now, over three years later, she continues to love what she does—supporting students and making a meaningful impact while still working within LISD classrooms.

When she’s not at work, Felisa finds the most joy in the simple moments—spending time with her family, relaxing in the backyard, and watching her husband bring projects to life around their home. It’s these everyday moments that mean the most.

Felisa describes herself as a simple small-town girl who feels deeply grateful for the life she’s built. Guided by faith, family, and real-life experiences, she has found her path and takes pride in the person she has become.

Thank You Felisa!!

April is Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month

At Central Texas Behavioral Solutions and Central Texas Therapy Associates, this month is more than awareness... it’s about understanding, acceptance, and meaningful support.

Autism is not one story. It’s a spectrum of unique experiences, strengths, and perspectives. Every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are.

As providers and as people who care deeply about this community, we are committed to:
Promoting acceptance over assumptions

Supporting individuals across the lifespan

Empowering families with knowledge and resources

Creating spaces where differences are respected and celebrated

We also recognize that while awareness has grown, there is still work to do, especially in improving access to services, increasing early and accurate diagnosis, and ensuring continued support into adolescence and adulthood.

This month, and every month, we stand alongside individuals with autism and their families to build a more inclusive, compassionate world.

Let’s move beyond awareness and into acceptance.
Different, not less.

Motivating Operations are what determines if something is more or less valuable, many things can be motivating operations. A person may have skipped breakfast therefore their hunger is a motivating operation that increases the value of a snack.

🌟Employee Spotlight!!🌟

Introducing,đŸ„Kelvin Holt!!

Kelvin is from Omaha Nebraska, where he lived since, he was 6 months old. He has 3 fur children (cats) one of them who recently joined his family. Who earned the name Dash after dashing through his fence and becoming injured. After Kelvin chose to pay for his medical treatment, Dash became a member of the family.

As a special education teacher in both private and inclusive classrooms, Kelvin found that the class size often prevented students from getting the individualized attention they needed. He decided that by joining CTBS and working as an RBT he would be able to provide clients the direct attention that leads to true growth and development.

Kelvin earned his master’s in education (in curriculum and development with a focus on special education) from Concordia University, Portland. He is a first-Generation Graduate but followed in his father’s footsteps who served in the military for 27 years and served 32 years! He has deployed to combat 3 times and served in other hostile regions twice. Thanks to his father’s service he is the only one of his 9 siblings (Yes Nine) to be born overseas, on Wheelus Air force base in Tripoli, Libya.

In his free time Kelvin often finds himself “doomscrolling,” on social media and likes to post lighthearted humor and thought-provoking questions. He also enjoys escape rooms with friends. When it’s not too hot outside, He also enjoys riding his motorcycle, going on walks around the neighborhood, and tending to his 12-bed vegetable garden!

Thank You Kelvin!!
