It's almost turkey day! 🦃

To prepare, we hand sewed turkeys by using felt and cotton stuffing to create our masterpieces.

Everyone loved talking about all of the different sewing projects they used to do each year around the holidays! 🧵

Roo, our favorite furry friend, came by for a visit! 🐶 🫶

As our Resident Program Director's pup, she comes in twice a month and our residents always look forward to seeing her!

We were looking for something to do around the local community, when we thought of the idea to create friendship rocks and put them around the town.

Chocolate covered Turkeys was perfect for this month's !

We were craving something sweet, but still on theme for Thanksgiving coming up. This was a great way to combine the two and used strawberries and pretzels for the body.

Everyone loved this and thought it was both creative and delicious.

In honor of Veterans Day last week, we played a Wartime Song Quiz where residents had to sing the melody based on the title of the song. 🎶🤩

These lyrics brought back so many memories of past times and all the traditions they participated in!

Stopping by the Kilmarnock Museum last week was a great way to support our local town. 🏦👏

Our residents were so impressed with what they learned and we even got a personal tour!

We we're honored to have The Northumberland JROTC present our Veterans with certificates and the color guard. It was a beautiful day of celebrating our heroes and thanking them for their service.

At the end of October we enjoyed dinner and a show at our favorite Hibachi restaurant in Gloucester Point! 😋🍽️

The chef had everyone captivated by his amazing tricks and talent!
