With our Green Thumb Club, we created updated floral arrangements for our dining room tables! 💐🪴

This time we used real tree clippings like eucalyptus, pine, fern, and more. It's so great to see the contributions our residents want to make to our community!

Last week was full of holiday magic!💫

We started off with having local musician, Pat Moore, come and play for us. Then we were dazzled by the Chesapeake Academy, as well as the Northern Neck HomeSchool Co op, who sang Christmas carols and made cards to pass out to our residents.

Of course, we also had a cookie and hot chocolate bar for residents and children to enjoy. 🍪☕

We ended the week by participating in the local Kilmarnock Christmas parade! 🎄

Our Christmas Bow Challenge brought out so many laughs today! 🎀

Everyone was ready to concentrate as they were blindfolded and given just a few seconds to get as many bows into their bowl as they could.

Ms. Veola Jones won the game with an impressive 19 bows in 30 seconds! 🏆

She is currently one of our dedicated Resident Care Associates, training to be a Med Tech. Yuneque is always so helpful to our entire team and overall showcases our Core Values.

Baking gingerbread cookies really got us into the holiday spirit! 🍪🎄

The sweet aromas from the cake mix and then designing our own shapes really made the experience that much sweeter.

Of course, we couldn't forget the whipped cream frosting! 😋

Everyone loved creating their own homemade bird feeder! 🐦

After a quick pinecone lesson, our Master Gardeners add lard and then sprinkled bird seeds all over.

After shaking the excess off, we went outside and hung them in front of our windows. 🪟
