Why do we say "Acceptance" instead of "Awareness"?

"Awareness" means knowing autism exists. "Acceptance" means including autistic people in our community exactly as they are.

Historically, April was about "fighting" autism. At Bloom and Thrive, we don't fight neurodiversity—we celebrate it. We aren't looking for a cure; we are looking for connection.

Myth: "Therapy has to happen at a desk to count."

Fact: Kids learn best when they are comfortable.

We do very little "table time" here. We learn colors while painting. We learn prepositions ("under/over") while building obstacle courses. If it looks like we are just playing, we are doing our job right.
