The BCBA is your child’s lead clinician and therapy designer 🧠💼

Their role includes:
✅ Conducting assessments
✅ Creating individualized treatment plans
✅ Supervising behavior technicians
✅ Training families
✅ Monitoring and adjusting goals

At Bloom and Thrive, our BCBAs are deeply involved in every child’s progress and are always available to answer questions or problem-solve with families.

📌 FAQ Friday: “Will my child have the same therapist every day?”

Consistency matters, and we aim to provide it! 🧩

At Bloom and Thrive, we assign a consistent behavior technician or two, to each child and ensure they are supervised by a dedicated BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).

That said, sometimes staff need time off, and when that happens, we try to schedule a familiar backup to maintain routine and reduce disruption.

Consistency + quality care = the foundation of your child’s success. 💚

At Bloom and Thrive ABA, we use natural environment teaching (NET) and structured learning, blending play with purpose.

🧸 For younger children: therapy often looks like play, because we embed learning into activities they already enjoy.
📚 For older children: therapy includes structured tasks and games, focused on building independence and specific skills.

🧠✨ Wednesday Wisdom: Build Communication Skills Through Play 🎲💬

Play is more than just fun — it’s a powerful way to support your child’s communication development! Here’s how you can make the most of playtime at home:

🔹 Follow Their Lead: Let your child choose the toy or activity. This encourages engagement and shows them their choices matter.

🔹 Model Language: Narrate what’s happening. “You’re driving the car — vroom, vroom!” This helps expand their vocabulary naturally.

🔹 Pause & Wait: Give your child time to respond after you ask a question or comment. Even silence gives space for communication.

🔹 Repeat Words: Repetition builds understanding. If you're playing with animals, repeat sounds: “Moo! Cow says moo!”

🔹 Keep It Playful: Use silly sounds, songs, and facial expressions to keep your child engaged and talking.
