Historyland Memorial Park

Although most of the cemeteries in the greater Fredericksburg area are corporately owned, Historyland is family owned and operated and focused on the families that we serve. Depending on the locality and type of burial plot/merchandise, Historyland Memorial Park is oftentimes half the cost of larger corporate cemeteries. If your family is looking for reasonably priced casket and cremation burial options; you might want to investigate our Family Owned and Operated Memorial Park.

Historyland Memorial Park is a “Perpetual Care” cemetery located on James Madison Parkway (US 301) in King George, Virginia. Chartered in 1968, Historyland is located in the historic Northern Neck of Virginia and derives its name from the rich history of King George and Westmoreland Counties. The cemetery has had several owners during the past 50 years and was most recently purchased in July of 2017 by local funeral home owner, David Storke. Storke owns numerous funeral homes in the area and Historyland is immediately adjacent to the King George Chapel of Storke Funeral Home.

We recommend appointments for our clients and families wishing to discuss pre-need planning or memorial purchases. Scheduling an appointment allows us to focus on each client or family without interruptions or delays.
