Covid 19 has had a major impact on many people including the children.  

⁃Increase in depression: There has been an increase in the depression rates in children due to the quarantine period.  Children do not have a strong grasp on the reasoning they are being told they cannot see friends or go to school, which can lead to higher rates of depression.

⁃Trouble in school: With online school, especially young children, have a hard time learning.  Teachers are also adjusting and trying their best to teach the children, but it important for the parent/guardian to provide extra enrichment in the home.

⁃Decrease in social interaction: Children just want to spend time with their friends, whether that is at school or playtime at home.  Many children have struggled with the inability to see their friends during this time.

⁃Family finances: Many parents or guardians lost jobs or had decreases in pay during the pandemic.  Children can be directly impacted by this with food insecurity, housing insecurity, or even lack of funds to provide them with some needs.
