Tattoo removal is a process. The laser doesn’t “erase” the ink, it breaks the pigment into tiny particles that your immune system slowly clears over the following weeks.

A few things happening in this before and after:
• The darker pigment is breaking up first
• Heavier areas of ink take longer to fade
• Some spots clear faster as the body removes fragmented pigment

Black ink typically responds well to the 1064 nm wavelength used with PicoWay, which is why you’re seeing the lines start to soften and disperse.

Most tattoos require multiple treatments spaced several weeks apart to allow the body time to continue clearing the ink between sessions.

Results vary depending on ink color, depth, skin type, and immune response.
