King, NC – Linda Sidley Fitzpatrick, 64, of King, NC, was taken from this earth to her Heavenly home on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Linda was born on March 7, 1961, in Orange County, NY, to the late George and Anne Sidley. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, and she dearly loved her grandchildren and her fur babies.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Charles Fitzpatrick (Ashton); her daughter, Kelly Fitzpatrick (Dennis Bush); her grandchildren: Maximus Sampson and Abigail Jenson; her brother, George Sidley (Debra); and her fur babies: Lucy and Darla

Memorial donations to honor the life of Linda may be made to Family Services One Step Closer Domestic Violence Project, 1200 S. Broad St., Winston Salem, NC 27101.

Gloria Jean Bolt Branscome, 74, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Mrs. Branscome was born on May 23, 1951, in Willis, VA, to the late Dellas and Alma Lee Alderman Bolt. She was a member of Poplar Springs Church in King and worked for B.E. Aerospace for 50 years. She enjoyed tending her flowers and plants and loved her fur babies, Buster and Grace.

Gloria was known for having a meek and mild temperament. She loved people and always wanted to make others happy, she placed others above herself, and she was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. She always wore a smile on her face, and her kindness will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Jerry Branscome; her daughter, Christina Webster (Rodney); her brother, Michael “Mack” Bolt (Penny); her sister, Faye Dalton (Gearland); and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC, with Minister Donald Davis officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Kermit Quesenberry Family Cemetery in Dugspur, VA.

Woodrow A. Richardson was born on October 9, 1939, to John and Esther Penn Richardson in Bronx, New York. He departed this life peacefully on December 30, 2025, in King, NC.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Miriam Norwood, and his brother, Douglas Richardson.
He was a devoted member of Elevation Church in Winston-Salem, NC. During his life, he had many interests and vocations. He was an educator in Atlanta, GA, and retired from IBM, where he worked in sales. Mr. Richardson was very active in his local NAACP chapter, where he served a term as President. He was also involved in the leadership of Goodwill Industries. Woodrow was also involved with many entrepreneurial ventures, such as BVW Productions. He also distinguished himself as an advocate for clean water and as a grant writer. He loved Chess, Checkers, and tennis; he was an avid player of all. He proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Left to cherish precious memories are his wife of 51 years, Patricia Richardson, his children Dennis Richardson, Wanda King (Ricky O. King), John Richardson, Sharon Richardson, and Lila Richardson; his sister, Dr. Jean Esther Bennett; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Elevation Church in Winston-Salem, NC, with Funeral services beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Anthony officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
