Had a blast with these 15 today traveling to UCM’s “Choose UCM” day which included a majors fair. As a matter of fact- so much fun we forgot to take pictures at SFCC!
Great group of kids and a beautiful day to explore these amazing campuses.

The NCHS weight room is working towards updating some cardio equipment. Callaway Electric Cooperative through the generous support of the Operation Roundup program chose us as a grant recipient to help towards the project of purchasing new treadmills. Thank you so much for your support!

The Operation RoundUp program is when you, as a Callaway Electric/Callabyte Customer, round up your bill to the nearest dollar. On average, customers donate around $6 a year. This donation helps support local initiatives through grants & scholarships. NCHS students spent the morning at Boone Hospital touring and getting hands-on experience! Students were able to choose between tours involving all things nursing (Emergency, Cath Lab, OR, and Labor & Delivery), or support specialties like pharmacy, imaging, and labs. After, they got to participate in hands-on stations. What a great experience in the health care world!

We know the current government shutdown may be causing added stress for some families, especially those experiencing delays or reductions in food assistance. Please know that support is available.

Each North Callaway school has a food pantry or buddy pack program for any family in need. These are stocked with nonperishable items, snacks, and other essentials. If your family could use a little help, please reach out to your school counselor or outreach staff.

Had a great day at Build My Future Central Missouri today. NCHS took 34 students to the experience. Big thanks to all the employers, unions, educators, etc. who made today possible and promoted the trades to our students!
