At Sanders Funeral Service we are proud to run the only locally owned funeral home in Kingfisher that is operated by a family that has lived in and been deeply engrained in the community for over 55 years. We will provide the highest standard of service, commitment and compassion to the families we serve. We offer full-service funerals, cremations, and memorial packages including video tributes. Our onsite chapel allows us to accommodate families that wish to have a service outside of the church. The little historic white funeral home that was founded in 1899 by Arthur Bracken in downtown Kingfisher has been serving Kingfisher County for over a century and we are looking forward to many more. We go the extra mile to make sure your family members' Celebration of Life is a true reflection of them! Call us today receive your free preplanning guide.

Music can be a powerful part of a funeral service. It helps us reflect on our loss and honor the life of someone we love.

When choosing music, consider songs that were meaningful to your loved one or your family.

Most funeral homes and churches can play recorded music, and live musicians or singers can often be arranged with the help of your funeral director.

Known as the Celebrant of Life, Dennis plays a special role in helping families honor and celebrate their loved ones in deeply personal ways. When families don’t have a strong church or pastoral connection, Dennis steps in to thoughtfully weave together memories, stories, and faith. He also serves as a Funeral Assistant and Pre-need Insurance Specialist.

Outside of the funeral home, Dennis treasures time with family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoys working on classic cars, a passion rooted in his early training in automotive mechanics and past experience owning an auto salvage yard and wrecker service. He is actively involved in his church, where he teaches an adult Sunday school class and sings with the praise team. At home, Dennis and Lora enjoy grilling, relaxing on the back porch, listening to music, and even a little karaoke in his mancave.

Those who know Dennis best describe him as silly, big-hearted, and faithful. These qualities shine through in his work, where he strives to ensure every family knows they are loved and never treated as just another name or number.

Deeply rooted in the Kingfisher community, Dennis values its tight-knit nature and the way neighbors show up for one another. Guided by his faith and the values instilled at Sanders, he is committed to always putting families first and serving with compassion, dignity, and heart.

We’re grateful to have Dennis as part of the Sanders team and community.
