Another one in the shop getting some much-needed love. 🔧🔥

This Chevy Avalanche came in with a pretty rough exhaust situation. The manifold gaskets needed replacing, and several studs had broken off in the head, so we carefully extracted those and got everything prepped the right way.

When we dug deeper, we found the couplers were literally being held together with vise-grip pliers instead of proper hardware. That wasn’t going to fly. We replaced everything with brand new bolts and hardware so the exhaust is now properly secured and built the way it should be.

We also cleaned up a bunch of exhaust leak putty that had been slapped on previously and added fresh welds where needed to ensure a tight seal and eliminate any leaks. No shortcuts here.

To finish it off, we gave the truck a full degreaser treatment under the hood and underneath the truck to clean up all that built-up grime.

Now this Avalanche is sealed up, cleaned up, and running the way it should.

We started off installing a set of running boards to make getting in and out a whole lot easier while adding that clean, finished look to the sides of the SUV. Function meets style on this one.
