✨SPOTS FILLED✨

Your girl opened her schedule for February 14th 2026 and spots filled quickly! Thank you to all my clients who booked! If you’d like to get on my schedule in the future, send me a message and I’ll add you to my exclusive list!

👉🏻Important Notes
- my calendar may only open up 1x a month and the booking site will remain closed
- appointments are at a first come first serve basis once messages/notices are sent out
- all policies and procedure still apply (which are posted on the website)

🙏🏻THANK YOU everyone for your continued prayers for my son, Benjamin. This time away from massage and having the ability to be home more has helped tremendously in his care. Being able to be close and help him fight off UTIs has made a huge positive impact on his health as we wait for his next surgeries and procedures.

IASTM or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a simple and effective manual therapy that will successfully break up and reduce fascial adhesiveness and excessive fibrotic scar tissue.

IASTM instruments make it easier to detect and treat facial dysfunction. They magnify the abnormalities: scars, restrictions and adhesions in the fascia and muscle tissue making it easier to locate the area to be treated.

Using a tool focuses the force through an area smaller than your finger with less friction. This allows a more efficient treatment. The goal is to trigger an inflammatory healing response. This will stimulate the production of new collagen and provide a more functional, less painful healing environment.

Other names and similar techniques are Gua Sha, Graston tool work, scraping, spooning, or coining along with many more names across the world.

BENEFITS OF IASTM
• Decrease in overall treatment time
• Allows for quicker recovery – rehab
• Decreases the need for anti-inflammatory medication
• Resolves chronic conditions thought to be permanent
• Clients & athletes can continue to engage in everyday activities and training

Daisy Proctor, your local sports massage therapist at Ludus Sports Massage, is certified and has been highly trained to master this skill over the last 8 years, taught and mentored by Lori-Ann Gallant-Heilborn of Ultimate Sports Massage Therapy who herself is one of the only therapists in the United States qualified and certified to teach this modality to other massage therapists.

When seeking a therapist who uses IASTM, as with any modality or skill, it is highly encouraged that you the client do your research and find a therapist that has taken courses, practiced the skill, and earned a certification for that particular modality or specialty. Especially when it comes to tool work, equipment being used, or a modality that could potentially be harmful for the client- if the therapist is untrained and not knowledgeable you could come out of your session in pain and confused.

Any therapist can buy tools off Amazon and say they know IASTM but do they have the years of training, knowledge, experience working with athletes of all kinds and most importantly the education and certification to be practicing that modality in the first place. Feel free to ask me about my certification. I’d be happy to show you as well as hands on.

And for all my fellow MTs who would like information about how to get your certification and knowledge in IASTM, please visit the link below for class updates!

My Bladder Exstrophy toddler does get sports massages and we do use tools!

During my time as a sports massage therapist, I’ve worked with many children but when it comes to babies and toddlers, I’ve just worked on my own kids. When Benji was born with B.E. I knew he would need a lot of massage and body work combined with PT and OT.

Since Benji has been an infant, he’s received massage from me. Whether it’s just for relaxation to aid him to sleep, comfort him during hospital stays or an all out baby sports massage, we get it done.

Each session is only about 5 minutes long. I know I’m his mommy, but we’ve still worked hard to establish communication and trust, especially when incorporating sports massage techniques like IASTM.

I truly believe the work we’ve done together has helped Benjamin in his body awareness and movement abilities as a toddler despite all the surgeries and hospital stays. I also believe the reduced scar tissue will benefit him in the future as he grows into a young boy and man.

Thank you God, for being the ultimate Healer and for giving me the knowledge and skills to help my son in his B.E. journey feel his best.

✌🏻New Year, New Beginnings ✨

2025 brought many challenges which meant reassessing my work/home balance. Thank you again to each and every one of you who have been so kind, patient, and understanding as my family navigated medical issues with our 2 year old, homeschooling, military life, and more. I am happy to say that taking this break in my career has brought on so much peace.

I still struggle at times with missing y’all. Missing the grind, missing seeing yall and helping my clients feel better, and doing something that I truly love. I have fought feelings of “theyve been my clients for so long, I feel like im losing family,” when imagining yall seeing someone else after seeing me 2-4x a month.

But since closing my doors, I have genuinely enjoyed being able to focus on my family and their needs. Being able to spend this time with my kids is something I won’t get back. Work is something I can do when they are older. And definitely being able to focus on my Benji when he’s sick and not worry about how the office is doing, is a major plus!

Please reach out to the amazing therpists in town. There’s honestly too many to list but do your research based off your needs and don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you need help finding a therapist, (even across the country) I am more than happy to assist. I have many colleagues in town as well as across the United States. Theres no envy or anger on my part when i see a former client of mine see another therapist. I truly am happy youre getting the help you need. Maybe im a little sad that a huge part of me is being put on hold for awhile but I am also happy, and trusting, of where God is leading me.

For now, yes I will still be massaging on occasion. When my schedule allows. My intention is opening up one day a month. My wait list will be contacted. If you’d like to join this list, please let me know.

To many blessings in 2026 🙏🏻✨

Benjamin is back in the ER.

RSV symptoms got worse and he now has a UTI.

He’s having issues breathing, we can’t keep his fever down, and he has a consistently high heart rate. He has a very uncomfortable cough and has been vomiting. Hes also in a little bit of pain all around.

We don’t have anymore information at this time.

Yes, your massage therapist probably knows when you got new shoes, if you stayed in bed all weekend, if you travelled, if you walk pigeon toed or like a duck, if you have a desk job, if you wear steel toed shoes to work or if you work with small children. We can even tell the difference between the vegans and the meat eaters. It’s pretty crazy and cool that we can figure all this out and you don’t even have to speak a word. We didn’t go to school to speak muscle for nothing. And the best part? We hear what your body is telling us, we listen, and we can take away these issues with our hands!

Now that I think about it… massage is kind of weird isn’t it?

Let’s face it, us millennials are starting to feel the aches and pains! 😅

👉🏻 Pro Tip: take your Christmas wrapping to the kitchen table. choose standing rather than sitting on the floor, hunched over. even kneeling nice and tall at the living room coffee table would suffice!
👉🏻prep all your supplies. you don’t want to be running up the stairs for another roll of tape or scrambling to the nearest dollar general for scissors.
👉🏻start early and take breaks. don’t wait till the last minute to shop and wrap, otherwise you’ll be trimming paper and placing bows for hours. my suggestion, as the presents come in day by day, wrap them. that way, a week before Christmas, you’ll only have a few gifts to finish rather than a giant pile!

✨and of course, if you’re feeling those aches and pains of shopping, hauling, driving, and wrapping, call up your local LMT for some relief!
