🌟 Giving Together, Giving Back 🌟

🩸 "I had donated blood before, but donating platelets became personal when my husband chose to give in memory of his aunt, who needed platelets during cancer treatment. We do everything together, so I donated alongside him," said Brittany from Lebanon, Virginia.

📱 Around that time, a friend saw her Instagram story and messaged to thank her. She shared that during her treatment, she often needed platelets. 🧡

🕓 Brittany later learned that platelets have a very short shelf life but are always needed locally, it truly hit home. That’s when she knew she wanted to become a regular donor.

Your hometown supplier of blood and blood products for over 70 years

For over 70 years, Marsh Regional has been the largest hometown supplier of blood and blood products in Northeast TN and Southwest VA.

It all started when Marsh established the area’s first hospital-based blood bank in Kingsport in 1947. Since then, Marsh’s mission has been to collect and maintain blood supplies for this community.

Marsh Regional has steadily grown and today supplies 28 medical facilities, all regional cancer centers and the region’s rescue aircraft. In fact, Marsh is the sole provider of blood to Bristol, Sullivan and Carter Counties in Tenn. and several counties in Virginia.
