Today ARCH Academy celebrates its 6th year on our Harpeth campus! We are so grateful for our dedicated staff, the support of our Cumberland Heights Board and Leadership Team, and the many generous donors who believed in our mission. Most importantly, we are grateful to all of the young men and families that have blessed our campus!

Ridgeview’s first fly fishing experience! Our Adventure Coordinator, Kenny Davis, has built a strong recover and therapeutic based curriculum for our two campuses. We are fortunate to be recipients of a TWRA grant that funds each of our kids fishing license. We also have many donors that support this program that we will do a separate post on.

Sharing a poem written by a recent program graduate. A little insight to his journey! Shared with permission.

Poem on Hope and Optimism

To the future
from the past
you need a suture
so things cast

Things get better
even after you met her
though you think you’re screwed
things will be fine, dude

Out of the dark
into the light
seize the day
flee the night

See the best in yourself
it’s okay to need help
you’re always feeling improved
thanks to the fact you’ve moved

no need to distract your mind
when you say, “I am kind”
no need to fix self-esteem
in recovery, you know what I mean

Sunsets on an incredible day of teamwork and fellowship at ARCH Academy. It has been a long few days here in middle TN. We temporarily moved our girls campus over to the boys campus due to generator issues. Displacing our boys into one cabin, which created opportunities for bonding and problem solving. Both populations met the challenges. It was incredible to witness. Staff did not miss a beat, therapy happened, great meals were had and relationships deepened. Here is a great poem a staff sent after the event:

In the Heart of the Storm

Amidst the clash and snow's embrace,
We stand as one in every place.
Through trials fierce and shadows long,
Together we are brave and strong.

In unity, our spirits rise,
Against the odds, beneath cold skies.
With courage born from each embrace,
We conquer fear, we find our place.

Though battles rage and tempests call,
Together we shall never fall.
For in the snow, our strength revealed,
In heart and soul, our bond is sealed.

Grateful.
