The holidays always remind us that food is love - a quiet language of care, presence, and shared humanity. May every table this season be a place of belonging, tenderness, and connection.

Here’s a taste of what unfolded at our recent BreakBread with the Woodstock Center for Awakening. 🍞

We gathered around a, powerful prompt:
What does “village” mean to you? And how are you showing up for yours?

What emerged reminded us that villages are built through listening, honesty, and depth. That we need third spaces where connection can breathe. That villages aren’t always idyllic - they can hold tension, complexity, even villains - and still be places of belonging.

For a moment, our table was a village. And in that shared space, friendships deepened and new questions took root.

What’s next? You! Hosting BreakBread. Stay tuned for more on that.

The Conversation Card Deck has landed at the one and only ! ☕️✨Thank you to Anthea and Mark for your 💛 and support. Is there a better home for BreakBread than a coffee shop that’s cultivating a well-fed, well-cared-for Kingston Village? A third-place that engenders the ethos of “welcoming” - a core tenant of the BreakBread process..

We invite you to swing by for the coffee, the food, the warmth… and grab a deck or any of their amazing products while you’re there.

I love this reflection from one of our students - a social work grad who said they never learned what’s really behind conversations that connect. 💬

Things like… our desire, our judgments, our know-how, our impatience, our patience - and how to shift stuck conversations through movement - the literal dance of conversation. 💃🕺

At the heart of BreakBread is our relationship to each other. Every step helps us connect more consciously and create heart-centered conversations that cut across power and norms. ❤️✨
