Dear families,
I am reaching out to personally share some difficult news. I recently experienced a severe medical infection that required immediate, intensive care. While I am incredibly grateful to report that I am alive and stable, the road to recovery is long.
Under doctor’s orders, I will be taking a mandatory medical leave of absence until at least May. Because of the seriousness of this event, I am taking time to focus entirely on my health and am considering my next steps regarding the future of my practice. I know this is sudden, and I deeply appreciate your patience, understanding, and thoughts during this time.
What this means for you:
• Coverage and Transition: Dr. Sudo will be providing temporary emergency call coverage during this time. We are also actively searching for a temporary physician to provide short-term coverage for office visits. My sons, Emir and Nadan, will be assisting with this transition. We will get back to you as soon as we can with further details.
• Alternative Care: Patients are welcomed to seek care from another provider in our network or your primary emergency services for any immediate needs.
• Medical Records: Your health information remains secure. If you need to request a copy of your records for a new provider, please call the office at 570-270-2525 / email at contactus@peds21.net / visit our portal.
