Amy is known for her 'whole horse' approach, and ability to partner not only with horse owners, but with farriers, veterinarians, and all those involved in the care of a particular horse, to determine the best course of action to benefit the animal. Amy challenges the conventional and thinks outside the box with regard to the needs of a particular horse, and consistently pursues the best course of action for the equine, putting the horse first on all occasions. A veteran equestrian and avid jumper, Amy has an intimate understanding of the anatomy and physiology of an equine athlete, and the challenges associated with keeping a performance horse in optimum health. Amy has worked on some of the top equine athletes in the country, in addition to keeping pleasure horses and even retired horses comfortable and happy. Always eager to learn and improve upon her own vast skill set, Amy frequents clinical studies with veterinarians and immerses herself in the most recent knowledge and information that the industry has to offer. Working through the topline here with the True Relief device - it’s a great tool for encouraging tight muscles to actually let go, and it helps address inflammation and soreness that can quietly build up over time. 🐴 The back rarely lies about what’s going on in the rest of the body, and when pain is present there, you’ll usually see it show up in the work too. 😣

What signs does your horse show when their back is tight? 🤔

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙚𝙚??

The body doesn’t lie - and thermal imaging proves it every time. 🌡️ This is why our thermal scanner is one of our favorite tools. This scan is telling a story about a very specific structure in the lower limb - one that plays a huge role in every single stride this horse takes. What do you see, and what do you think it means? 👇🏼 Tell us your thoughts in the comments!

Horses can’t tell you where it hurts. But oh, they will let you know - a pinned ear, a dramatic flinch, a back that braces instead of swings, or that one transition that suddenly becomes your horse’s personal nemesis for no apparent reason.

Learning to listen with your hands is kind of a game changer. It stops being about riding and starts being about actually getting each other.

Equine massage isn’t just for the fancy competition horses. It’s basically a conversation - except your horse finally gets a turn to talk. And trust me, they have a LOT to say. 😂

So tell me - when’s the last time your horse got some bodywork? What did they have to say?👇

Cute video? Check. Now let’s talk horses. 🐴 Got questions about equine bodywork, thermalscans, TrueRelief Equine, or cryo? This is your sign to ask! No question is too basic or too nerdy and definitely not stupid - drop it in the comments and let’s chat! 👇

Thermally? It’s loud. 😳

What do you think is going on here?

What are you checking first?

Yesterday Luke spent the day at Hightail Acres during their school vacation camp - and turned a thermoscan into a hands-on learning moment. 🤓

He scanned one of the farm horses, walked the kids through what he was looking at, what the colors meant, and how bodywork helps keep horses comfortable and performing their best. 🙌🏼

Because the next generation of horse owners should know that wellness is more than just riding - it is understanding the horse underneath you.

We love seeing curiosity light up like this. 🥰✨

“He just feels a little stiff.” 🐴

That little stiffness?
• Reduced range of motion
• Altered stride
• Compensation somewhere else
• Increased injury risk

Small restrictions turn into big problems if we ignore them. Bodywork keeps the small stuff small. 🙌🏼

Hot spots, cool areas, symmetry (or lack of it)… no wrong answers here. 👀

We’ll circle back with what we noticed and why it matters.

Belated birthday love for Mel ❣️🧁

Mel is one of those rare humans who quietly makes everything better. She helps the horses feel their absolute best, keeps the behind-the-scenes wheels turning, and does it all with kindness, care, and zero need for the spotlight. She is truly a cornerstone of this team. 🫶🏼

We are so lucky to have you, Mel. The horses feel it, the team feels it, and we are endlessly grateful for the heart you bring to everything you do. Have Happy Birthday - celebrated a little late, but meant just as much. You’re the best ❣️

Cold weather changes how horses move and how they use their bodies. Extra layers, reduced turnout, and slippery footing can all contribute to shoulder tightness. Consistent bodywork helps support comfort, range of motion, and overall soundness through winter. ❄️
