✨ Happy 2-Year Anniversary, Yi-Ching!✨

From little ones in Early Intervention to older adults in assisted living-and every stop in between, Yi-Ching shows up with focus, empathy, and a calm strength that makes others feel seen and supported.

Yi-Ching guides URI students and interns with insight and encouragement, making her a trusted mentor and steady presence for next generation of music therapists.

🎭 We are so excited to be a part of this powerful collaboration between Seven Hills Rhode Island and Trinity Repertory Company's Active Imagination Network (TRAIN) program for the production of Destructive Criticism, written by Manny Maldonado.

👏 Featuring remarkably talented actors from the TRAIN program, this production showcases creativity, storytelling, and talent. Our team at Hands in Harmony is proud to provide music direction, with licensed music therapist Caitlin facilitating the group experience. 🎶

We are proud to support the incredible students in the URI Music Department's Music Therapy Program-students that our clinicians have had the pleasure of working with at Hands in Harmony for their clinical placements.

🎵 Seniors – Congratulations on completing your clinicals with us! Wishing you all the best as you begin your internships.

🎵 Juniors – Your first year of community-based clinicals is complete. Next stop: medical and psych placements!

🎵 Sophomores – You wrapped up your first year at the HIH clinic and are scaling up to begin your work in the community.

🎶 Scaling Up Ceremony 2025 🎶

Last week at the Fine Arts Center, we gathered to celebrate students in the URI Music Department's Music Therapy Program. This event highlights as the sophomores prepare to begin community-based clinical placements, juniors move into medical and psych settings, and seniors transition to full-time internships.

This is an incredible group of students-they are dedicated, compassionate, and ready to make an impact beyond the classroom. 💙 We are honored to collaborate and we are forever grateful to our Hands in Harmony clinicians for their supervision, dedication, clinical expertise, time, and unwavering commitment to student growth.
