📣ACTION ALERT: We need your help to protect $20 million in funding for school mental health care!

Over a third of Maryland high school students report feeling persistently sad or hopeless and suicidality among Maryland youth aged 12-17 is 5th highest in the nation.

Despite these grim statistics, the Budget Reconciliation and Financing Act (BRFA) of 2026 (SB 284/HB 392) would reduce annual school mental health funding from $100 million to $80 million, impacting students in every jurisdiction across the state.

📢Sudlersville Elementary School, Sudlersville Middle School, and Church Hill Elementary School have joined together to invite ALL QACPS parents/guardians throughout our District to attend a workshop on Online Safety: What Parents Should Know, presented in partnership with the Queen Anne's County Office of the Sheriff and QACPS Title I Part A.

Today, our Family Engagement and Education Worker, Megan, was able to attend a career fair at Centreville Middle School to educate students on Social Work and the behind the scenes work that goes into running a private practice!

Another wonderful opportunity that would not be possible without our grant from the Community Health Resource Commission (CHRC) & our HUB, Mid Shore Behavioral Health.
