If one things for sure, there’s a high chance I’m going to get into those underarms! Working the muscles & tendons under the arm can help alleviate tension from both the anterior & posterior side of the body. Opening & rotating the shoulder will increase range of motion, lubricate the bone/joint area & stretch those muscles that sometimes get neglected. Lymph nodes in the area will also benefit by providing some movement.

Here we have Señor Flaco showing off his Psoas muscle 😄.

(Pronounced 🗣So-as) If you’re feeling tightness/pain in your low back &/or hips, the Psoas muscle may be the culprit! The Psoas aids in connection between the upper & lower body. When the Psoas is tight & short, it can negatively affect the lower back & influence a pelvic tilt; causing misalignment in other areas of the body.

Treatment for the Psoas:
Massage to release & relax.
Stretching to lengthen.
Strengthening to stabilize.
