We are incredibly honored and humbled to share that Neuse Enterprises received the “Inclusion Leader” award from RADD (Raising Awareness for the Developmentally Disabled) at their gratitude gala on March 24th! 💙

This recognition means so much to us - especially during a time when our organization is navigating important changes to meet regulatory requirements. Through it all, our focus has not changed. We remain deeply committed to Empowering People and Elevating Potential and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities every single day.

Our mission continues to guide us: to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence through employment, training, and community inclusion.

🚨IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE 🚨

For the safety of our participants, staff, and families, Neuse Enterprises will be CLOSED on Monday, March 16, due to the threat of severe weather in our area.

Forecasts are calling for the potential of strong storms, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes across Eastern North Carolina. Because our programs involve transportation and community activities throughout the day, we believe the safest decision is to keep everyone off the roads.

❌ Supported Employment Services - CLOSED
❌ Transportation Services - NOT OPERATING

Our top priority will always be the health and safety of the individuals we support and our staff.

🚨 Weather Update 🚨

Due to current weather conditions and uncertainty around overnight temperatures, Neuse Enterprises will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, February 5.

While forecasts vary, temperatures may dip near freezing in some areas, which could create slick or icy spots on the roads. For safety reasons, we will not be providing transportation for participants who live in areas that are not safe for our vans to travel (such as roads fully covered with snow). Those individuals are welcome to attend programs tomorrow if they can be safely dropped off at and picked up from Neuse Enterprises. We encourage everyone to use caution, allow extra travel time, and prioritize safety.

We will continue to monitor conditions and will share updates if anything changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Due to current weather and road conditions, Neuse Enterprises will open tomorrow with a two-hour delay.

NC DOT reports that primary roads are clear or partially covered with snow, and secondary roads are partially or fully covered. For safety reasons, we will not be providing transportation for participants who live in areas that are not safe for our vans to travel (such as roads fully covered with snow). Those individuals are welcome to attend programs tomorrow if they can be safely dropped off at and picked up from Neuse Enterprises.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we continue to prioritize safety for participants and staff. Please travel carefully, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
