It’s time for “Wednesdays Behind the Counter”

Each Wednesday we will be introducing you to our employees here at Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs! 🥼💙 You may see some familiar faces - and some new! We appreciate each of our staff members and we couldn’t do it without them! Be on the lookout each week for the faces that are behind making sure all of your medication is filled, counted, checked, and delivered with ease and satisfaction! 💊

This week we’re introducing another one of our cashiers, Michaela Parks!

Q: How long have you worked for Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic?
A: I started this year in October!

Q: What is your favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs?
A: I love that I am able to help my community and make sure customers get what they need. I also love the relationships I have formed with my coworkers!

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: I enjoy shopping, going to the beach, and being with my family and friends!

Our store hours will be adjusted during the week of Christmas! Please be sure to pick up and refill any medications you may need ahead of time as we will be closing early on Wednesday, December 24th at 1PM and will be closed on Thursday, December 25th and Friday, December 26th. Q: How long have you worked for Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic?
A: I have been working here almost six months now!

Q: What is your favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs?
A: My favorite part about working here is the family-like atmosphere! It’s such a welcoming and kind environment that I really enjoy being a part of!

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: In my free time, I am either playing softball, spending time with family and friends, going shopping, or relaxing when I can!

This week we’re introducing another one of our wonderful pharmacy techs, Kim Morris!

Q: How long have you worked for Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic?
A: I have been working at Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic Pharmacy for 8 months!

Q: What inspired you to become a pharmacy technician?
A: I worked several years in an Adult Home as a SIC/Med Tech. I really enjoyed working with all of the residents and their medication needs. It was time for a change so I decided to pursue Pharmacy Tech.

Q: What is your favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs?
A: I love how everyone feels and acts like family. It makes the day much more pleasant!

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: In my free time I love spending time with my family (especially my grandbabies), going to the pistol range, and taking cruises!
