Seeking Compassionate Volunteers 💙

Living Legacy Adult Day Health Program is seeking volunteers to assist with activities such as crafting, reading stories, serving lunches, pouring drinks, sharing conversations, and simply spending meaningful time with our participants.

As the owner of an adult day health program—and someone who has firsthand experience as a caregiver—I understand the daily challenges caregivers face. The emotional, physical, and mental demands can be overwhelming. At Living Legacy, we see the urgent need to provide caregivers and loved ones with much-needed respite so they can return to work, attend appointments, or simply take time to care for themselves—without the worry of leaving their aging, elderly, or disabled loved one alone.

If you have a heart for service and want to make a difference, whether for a couple of hours a day, week, or month, we would love to connect with you. Your kindness, time, and compassion will never be forgotten.

Holiday & Winter Vacation Closure Notice

Living Legacy Adult Day Health Program will be closed for the holiday and winter vacation beginning December 22nd through January 4th
We will resume normal activities on January 5, 2025.

Living Legacy Adult Day Health Program adheres to Lenior County Public Schools closings, delayed openings and early dismissals. We are closed December 9, 2025 for all participants and staff.

I am truly saddened today. Someone busted the window of our Adult Daycare van, and it deeply hurts to see something meant to serve and support our seniors treated with such disregard. We work hard to provide safe, reliable care and transportation for those who depend on us, and moments like this are discouraging. Please note you are on camera and we will be makng a police report and pressing charges. Still, we will move forward with grace, repair what’s been damaged, and continue serving with the same compassion and commitment as always.
