UNC Health Lenoir Volunteers, Volunteer Services 100 Airport Road, Kinston, NC (2025)

Whether you have retired after a long career, are just beginning school, or somewhere in between, volunteer opportunities abound for everyone at UNC Lenoir. We boast over 200 volunteers working in 20-plus departments, and a summer program attracts the talents of 50 students each year. As a UNC Lenoir volunteer, you will have the opportunity to serve in many capacities that benefit patients, visitors and the community. Here are some ways you can help:
•Staff the Information Desk
•Deliver Mail & Flowers
•Admit and Discharge Patients
•Aid Families in Surgical Family Waiting Room
•Serve Customers in the Gift Shop
•Provide Snacks to Staff and Patients via the Cheer Cart
•Transport patients via the courtesy golf cart from visitor parking lot to hospital entrance.
•Serve as a member of our Volunteer Leadership Team

🎄Spreading Holiday Cheer!

A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who funded the Secret Santa Project. Together, UNC Health Lenoir partnered with the Guardian ad Litem Program to support their Every Child Deserves a Christmas campaign.
Because of your generosity, children who might have otherwise gone without will experience the joy of Christmas this year. The child sponsored by our volunteers will truly be blessed thanks to your kindness. Our Director, Jane Hanrahan, and her sister helped shop for gifts this year. Thank you both for your time and heart! 💝

Lights of Love Tree Lighting--Thanks to our many donors and those in attendance. It was a wonderful evening of reflection, entertainment, food and community fellowship. Lights of Love is a year long project, and you can remember or honor a loved one anytime by calling 252-522-7011.
