If you enjoy baby snuggles, obstacle courses, silly songs, and the magic of imaginative play—we just might be the perfect fit. Our office offers traditional outpatient pediatric PT, DMI and intensive programs, and specialty programs such as pelvic health and aquatic physical therapy.

2025 was such a special year with so much growth! 🥹 We saw more families than ever, welcomed new team members, had our dream photo shoot, started an intensive program, and got to do what we love most- helping kids get strong so they can do big things! We are so grateful for all the blessings that 2025 brought us, and can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store. Thank you all for trusting us and supporting us through it all ❤️

It was such a dream come true doing a branding shoot with ! Ryan really took the time to capture the heart and soul of our clinic in these photos. We couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! First Step will be 5 years old next year, and I am in awe of how God has grown it over the years. It truly is such an honor and a blessing to be part of these families’ stories, and I am so grateful for all the friends, family, and therapists who have been part of our story!

🎄✨ We’re excited to share that First Step Pediatric Therapy is partnering with The Salvation Army to sponsor an Angel Tree this holiday season!

What’s an Angel Tree?
It’s a program that supports local children in need by providing gifts they might not otherwise receive. Each “angel” has a tag with their age, clothing sizes, and wish list items.

This holiday season, First Step Pediatric Therapy is proud to partner with Hopelink to support families in our community through a Food Drive.

Hopelink provides food, shelter, warmth, and support to local families in need. By donating non-perishable food and essential household items, you can help make a direct difference for neighbors facing food insecurity this winter.

We’ve set up a collection point in our clinic where you can drop off donations throughout the drive.
You’re welcome to bring items in any bag or box — or contribute using Hopelink’s other giving options.

PSIG is having its first in person meeting since 2020! We are so excited for this opportunity to network with other PTs in our area, learn more about DMI, and collaborate on how we can best serve our patients. We can’t wait!

What is PSIG? Pediatric Soecial Interest Group of WA! All pediatric PTs in WA are welcome to join. It’s a fun and free way to connect, learn, and grow with other PTs! During this meeting, Emily Burgess, PT, DPT will be sharing about DMI.
