How do we get wrinkles? Imagine an inflated balloon slowly losing it’s air. The latex is stretched and appears to have wrinkles because the structural support inside of it has deflated. This is the same concept for our skin. As we age we produce less collagen and elastin. The lose of fat leads to volume loss creating wrinkles.

Using fillers can help restore that volume in the lips and around the mouth to create a natural appearance. Getting filler doesn’t necessarily mean getting duck lips. Filler can “inflate your balloon” back to its smoother, more youthful look without looking fake.
