🦴 What Is a Hip Labral Tear?
The hip joint relies on the acetabular labrum, a ring of cartilage, to stabilize and cushion your hip. When this cartilage tears, it can cause pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. Labral tears can occur suddenly from a sports injury or fall or gradually over time due to wear and tear, often related to early hip arthritis.
If you’ve been experiencing persistent hip pain, it may be time to get it checked. Early diagnosis can make treatment more effective and help you get back to the activities you love.
