We are sharing the fully healed results of a patient treated by Dr. Khezri for tear trough filler. This patient’s primary concern was the appearance of "bags" and deep hollowness under the eyes, which gave a constantly tired appearance despite being well-rested.

Often, what we perceive as "bags" is actually a shadowing effect caused by volume loss in the tear trough (the junction between the lower eyelid and the cheek). By strategically placing filler in this hollow area, Dr. Khezri was able to smooth the transition between the lid and the cheek. This effectively eliminates the shadow, minimizing the appearance of the bag and restoring a brighter, more youthful look.

This patient is now fully healed, and the results are seamless. It is important to note that the under-eye area is complex; not every patient with undereye bags is a candidate for filler (some may require surgery). A consultation is essential to assess your specific anatomy.

The primary goal for this patient was to address the pannus and contour the waistline. Dr. Patel utilized liposuction on the lower back and flanks to taper the torso, followed by an abdominoplasty to flatten the front.

It is important to look past the temporary side effects of surgery. At 10 days out, the bruising and swelling you see here are a normal response to the liposuction and tissue repositioning. Despite this, the silhouette has already been transformed. The stomach is flat, and the problematic excess skin is gone.

We are sharing an early look at a recent otoplasty procedure performed by Dr. Allegra. This patient’s primary concern was prominent, outwardly projecting ears, a condition that is often caused by the underlying shape of the ear cartilage. Otoplasty, commonly known as ear pinning, is the surgical correction used to bring the ears closer to the head for a more balanced facial profile.

A common question regarding this procedure is the location of the scar. As demonstrated in this case, Dr. Allegra makes the incision strategically in the natural fold behind the ear. This allows access to reshape or reduce the cartilage structure while ensuring the resulting scar is well-hidden from view once healed.

This patient is currently just one week post-op. At this stage, it is normal to see initial swelling and some bruising as the tissues begin to heal.
