"Shaving your hair will cause your hair to grow back thicker & darker"

Get out of here grandma- that myth was busted in 1928.

It only seems that way because once the hair starts to emerge back through the surface of your skin, it may look and feel thicker due to the blunt end left from where the razor cut the hair.

So, take a deep breath: you can shave and trim the hairs as often as you wish through the laser process.

In fact, it’s mandatory for your treatment!

Simply put- Laser Hair Removal isn't safe or a good fit for everyone.

We'll of course go over all of this in more detail in your complimentary consultation- but here's how we determine your eligiblity for laser hair removal along with all the steps and precautions to prepare for your first appointment:

Prime Candidates must have:
🖤Medium brown to black hair
🖤Skin Tone I-IV

The higher the contrast between light skin and dark hair- the more effective laser hair removal can be.

In preparation for an upcoming appointment you must:
🖤 Accutane/Isotretinoin must be stopped 6 months prior
🖤 Stop waxing, tweezing, epilating, or threading hairs 4-6 weeks prior to treatment
🖤 Avoid prolonged sun exposure/tanning beds for 4 weeks before your treatment
🖤 Stop photosensitive meds (like certain antibiotics) 1 week prior
🖤 Stop usage of topical medications 3-5 days prior to treatment
🖤 Shave the areas you are having lasered the night before or the morning of treatment

& of course, always speak your prescriber or pharmacist to confirm any risk.
