Feeling overwhelmed by your toddlers big emotions?
Shared storybook reading is a great way to help kids learn about their emotions and how to handle them!
Here’s a little more about the recommended books:
🔴 “Mad, Mad, Mad” / “Happy Baby, Sad Baby” by Leslie Patricelli - Great books to introduce the concepts of feelings
🔴 “Calm Down Time” by Elizabeth Verdick - Talks through strategies after a tantrum.
🔴 “How Do You Feel” by Lizzy Rockwell - A book about emotions they might feel on the playground
🔴 “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn(3-7)- Raccoon dealing with Separation /Going to School
🔴 “Llama Llama Mad at Mama” by Anna Dewdney - Llama loses patience and throws a tantrum at the store
