Had my normal rad little family today so I thought it would be a good day to use the new, bigger, oil bottle. I chuckled to myself how I would for sure be using at least half the bottle considering there were 7 people today! Finished the day and here I am starting at how MUCH is left. Im like.. what?! Then I realized a few things. 1- I usually see these guys more often than it’s been recently (thanks snow ⛄️) so they were all a little tighter than normal which means... more therapeutic work and we all know that requires an abundance less oil than a general relaxation. So while my fun faux experiment failed, it gave new insight to just how unique each massage is, for every person, every time and that’s all I need to keep my soul happy 😊

When you’re in the middle of amazing bodywork you don’t really want to stop and take pics but when it’s this good and it’s your BFF, how can you not share the beauty?! These after photos are a great example of why so often you tell a therapist one side hurts.... and we go to the other 🥴😅 client: hx of chronic left hip issues mixed with a recent tumble, aggravating it even more. Her right side has been compensating for so long so that’s why she’s presenting with darkening more on right side vs her complaint of a more painful left side. Phones dying but I had to share a massage story from today. Totally forgot the before picture but whatever. So Client is in town and after 4 years them Being away we reconnected like no time had passed.

I was so
Nervous about starting my
Massage career in such a transient location (from all the military ppl moving in and out), never being able to keep a client for a long time but it’s turned out to be everything I’ve needed. I just love my job so freaking much, y’all. To have the privilege into someone’s life let alone during some of their hardest times in life is incredibly humbling.
Definitely holding space for a while for this one 💗 I hope your journeys become more and more fulfilling for you my dear client!
