MARCH AID PROGRAM RECAP:
This month’s ACMH volunteers hosted A.I.D. program made the digestive system easy to swallow for all the children who participated and came to the hospital for the program!

Participants got the chance to walk through each step of the digestive process and see how food is broken down through a variety of different hands-on experiments. The children learned about the importance of chewing and got to see just how long their intestines are. A cow tongue gave the kids a taste of anatomy and each student made an apron that was sure to keep digestion on their mind whenever they prepared food.

ACMH Welcomes Dr. Hasan, Endocrinology Specialist

ACMH is pleased to welcome Farhad Hasan, MD, MPH, as the newest endocrinologist at Endocrinology Associates of Armstrong. Dr. Hasan brings specialized expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the body’s hormone system, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and other endocrine conditions.
