In what ways can we feel supported and nourished this month?

Tend-
Maintenance, encouragement, guidance.
Tending your garden is an important step in creating a thriving ecosystem. Maintaining a garden means w**ding, snipping away dead flowers, and leaves, fertilizing and pinching back overgrowth to redirect energy. It’s a cooperative experience.
The tend card is a reminder that you deserve maintenance. It’s important to review the different parts of your life, every once in a while with a keen eye, looking for areas you can tend for positive results. Just as you guide your garden, your energy also deserves loving guidance and encouragement.
You may need to w**d toxicity out of your life. Be discerning about where you put your energy. Ask for guidance and listen to the messages of spirit sends you.

A monthly reflection: for alignment, growth, and expansion.

The castle:
the palace, the penthouse the Fortress

From the wild unknowns sacred archetypes deck

It’s no wonder fairytales tell of sleeping princesses within Castle walls. Like most archetypes, the castle is loaded with duality: it represents abundant riches, seductive fantasy, ornate wonders, and lavish adornments, yet the walls are thick, cold, and shadowy.

This card points to a tendency to hold onto possessions (quite possibly a literal home) or position that project the image of achievement, while the soul longs to run barefoot in the forest, leaving it all behind. At times we must “settle down”, yet the castle lulls us with its spell of materialism, and we fall asleep to our deepest dreams.

The castle can be a motivating force, an enchanting goal to travel towards-but it is best not to linger within its walls of decadent deception for too long.

Deeper: notice how castles are designed to keep things out. They defend. They separate. It is likely there is connection and community beyond its walls that will revitalize you.

When light: visiting your throne of power.
When dark: stuckness, depression, spells, walls.

What is the energy present this month?

Fog: obscurity, feeling lost
From the green witch oracle deck
Sometimes for whatever reason, you can’t see clearly. You find it difficult to think through an issue or you feel lost in a sea of information. You may feel directionless or unable to identify a clear goal or path to a desired outcome. Being lost in fog or feeling foggy can challenge your sense of stability.

Fog isn’t a solid obstacle, however. It’s like a veil, temporarily blurring your surroundings. Just because you can’t see clearly doesn’t mean the path isn’t there. Carefully feel your way forward one step at a time. Perhaps you need to move in a different direction to reach your destination. Sometimes all it takes is looking at a problem in a new way. The fog card prompts you to practice looking at things from other points of view.

Further insights: While you cannot control the “weather” (ex; circumstances) by validating what is present, including your own feeling around it and how it is affecting you. I did a ritual the other day to bless my tarot and oracle card decks.

While I have done practices or techniques to cleanse and connect with my decks: Like leaving them next to my bed while I sleep. selenite or smoke cleansing them, and using energy healing modalities… I’ve never done a formal ritual to cleanse and bless my decks before. Total game changer.

It really fosters that deeper connection between you and your sacred tools, and has a sense of sacredness that feels visceral. It feels like something just clicks and falls into place. The connection sparks, and all of a sudden what may have felt sluggish or muddled before feels crisp, clean and flows freely between your heart wisdom and your deck. It’s effing magical. I highly recommend it to folks of any level or flavor into card forms of divination or spiritual practice.

For those curious i did an elemental blessing on my decks, with my unconditionally loving spirit guides supporting and guiding the process. I started by calling in each element and its corresponding aspects and medicine asking for blessings of wisdom, communication, clarity and compassion, for my practice of divination (and collaboration with my decks). Touching each card to bless and cleanse, before closing my ritual and circle space.

Taking the time to do a deeper practice added an extra “oomph or boost” that was totally worth the time and effort. I can already tell, it is enhancing my reading and channeling practice. And I have a refreshed sense of enthusiasm and passion to offer readings.
