Beach Medical Closes Forever December 19th 2025


It is with respect and appreciation that we share important news: Beach Medical has closed.
We are proud of the years we’ve spent caring for our patients and neighbors, and we are immensely thankful for the trust placed in us. While this chapter is coming to an end, several of our providers will continue to serve the Outer Banks community.

Leah Woolridge, NP, Carol Pilote, NP, and Eric Robisch, PA intend to remain in primary care here on the beach, with plans to open a new practice, Hightide Healthcare in early 2026. Be sure to look for them at this same location, 5200 North Croatan Highway Kitty Hawk, as they continue their excellent work caring for our community. We will post updates on our website, beachmedicalobx.com, with information on how to reach them once their new practice has contact information.

Dr. Teresa Wargovich has retired. We are especially grateful for Dr. Wargovich’s many years of devoted and compassionate service.

Zoe Sherman, PA-C remains dedicated to serving the Outer Banks community and will continue caring for urgent care patients at another practice locally.

Important Dates

• Last Day for Appointments and Medication Refills: December 19, 2025
If you need a copy of your medical records or would like them transferred to another practice, please contact us at 252-261-4187 or by emailing beachmedicalobx@gmail.com. Both of these sources will be checked often.
• Paper copies are available for $0.25 per page plus postage if mailed.
• We recommend requesting a PDF copy by email at no charge.
• There is no charge to transfer your records electronically to another healthcare provider with a signed release of medical information.

This decision was not made lightly. Caring for you and your families has been a great honor. We are deeply thankful for your loyalty, kindness, and the many relationships built over the years.l

It’s snowing!!!!
It sure is pretty.

But not so safe to drive. So we’re closing at 1 pm today 2/19/2025 and we are going to try to open the doors at 10 am tomorrow weather depending. Might wanna call first. 252-261-4187.
