National Mammography Day is observed annually on the third Friday of October.

This day aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular breast cancer screenings, particularly mammography. It encourages women to schedule and undergo mammograms to detect breast cancer early, when it is most treatable.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💟 Mammograms are recommended for women 40 years and older every 1 - 2 years. Talk to your provider today about ordering your screening!

Let’s unite to raise awareness, support survivors, and honor those we’ve lost. Early detection through regular screenings like mammograms can save lives. Share your stories, wear pink, and encourage loved ones to prioritize their health. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

Flu season is almost here! Flu shots 💉 are now available at all 4 KHP locations: Klamath Open Door, Pine Street Open Door, Chiloquin Open Door, and our School-Based Health Center located on the Mazama HS campus.

If you'd like to get vaccinated, ask for a flu shot at your next visit, or schedule a walk-in appointment by calling 541-851-8110.
