Minimalism for the holidays focuses on health and well-being by reducing clutter and stress, prioritizing time together over physical gifts, and focusing on meaningful connections. 💜

In this class we’ll explore ways that we can: prioritize health and self-care, re-think what gift-giving looks like, reduce physical and mental clutter, practice gratitude, and we’ll make a small craft. This class is free and open to the public!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our Forest Bathing 101 class! We had a great time learning about this practice, sampling tea, and introducing mindfulness into our time outside. 🍂

Forest bathing is a mindful, sensory immersion in the forest atmosphere where we slow down and take in our surroundings without an agenda. Did you know that this practice can significantly improve mood, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety, and increase our immunity?! 🌲

We also learned all about cemeteries as a form of "green space". These are preserved areas that can benefit our health as well as our ecosystem health! We noticed lots of bird songs and enjoyed walking through the fall leaves.

The theme this time? FIBER! Did you know only 5% of Americans get the daily recommended amount of ~30-35 grams of fiber?? This nutrient is crucial to our overall health and can help support digestion, bowel health, lower cholesterol levels, blood sugar levels, decrease chances of constipation, and overall increase our lifespan! ❤
